A story communicates something beyond the precision of facts, a meaning embedded but deeper than the actual events. Stories are true even if they are not historical accounts of events. Clearly, stories are different ways to get truth than history and science. Stories explain and guide human experience just as history and science does. Science and history however are developed by those outside experiences who want to establish laws and principles that hold across different places and people. Stories are deeply personal. They belong uniquely to people who create them. Science and history study life and how living things functions, stories tell who we living beings are in relation to one another, what we value and what gives meaning to our lives....This is my Story
